URECA REC ISSUANCE TECHNOLOGY

URECA REC Issuance & Registration technology utilizes a direct connection via Renewable Energy systems and employs Machine Learning for nearly real-time monitoring and verification of RECs.

The URECA Registry, powered by blockchain technology, tracks RECs' ownership, status, and retirements in a transparent and unchangeable way.

Two independent measurement sources give complete confidence in the issuance of RECs.

1. Direct remote connection to assets to collect data in real time and ensure data integrity from origination

2. URECA Machine-Learning models verify the validity of power generation data.

3. Smart contracts automatically compare URECA data with a third-party Data registry.

4. The URECA Registry, powered by blockchain technology, tracks RECs' ownership, status, and retirements in a transparent and unchangeable way.

Unlocking Mongolia’s Vast Renewable Energy Potential through the REC Mechanism

Mongolia’s total renewable energy potential is 2.6 terawatts (TW), a potentially huge resource base for electricity production and export. In the decades ahead, these could draw on the vast solar and wind potential of Mongolia’s Gobi Desert. The current capacity only constitutes less than 1 % of the potential. The Renewable Energy Certificate Mechanism can provide incentives for renewable energy development in Mongolia to reach its full potential.
